Cushion Covers

Our expert Jo on how to use cushion covers to refresh a bedroom:

“You can change the feel of a bedroom surprisingly quickly by updating the cushions on the bed. New covers introduce colour and texture in a smaller dose, making them a practical choice when the room needs a lift but the main bedding still works beautifully.

“Keep the proportions of the bed in mind when styling them. One or two cushions can add softness to a double bed, while a king, super king or emperor bed can carry a slightly fuller arrangement. I’d coordinate them with one other element in the room, such as a bed throw, curtains or upholstered headboard, to make the scheme feel connected.

“Hampton and Astley quilted cushion covers are crafted from 100% Egyptian cotton sateen, the same naturally breathable fabric used for our bedding. Their soft texture and understated sheen add an indulgent finishing touch without taking attention away from the rest of the room.”
