No more magnolia
It remains one of the most popular shades for interiors, but magnolia isn’t to everyone's tastes. That's why the owner of this new build house in Leicestershire has made it her mission to banish the creamy colour from every room, in favour of warm neutrals, greys and white.

The beautiful master bedroom has sumptuous layers of bedding in stone grey and white, paired with shimmering wallpaper and upholstery.
Chrome fittings complement the light grey herringbone floor in the bathroom, which features Hampton and Astley's irresistibly soft Egyptian cotton towels in charcoal.
Amelia used her DIY skills to add paneling to her hallway and landing, then paint them in a dreamy shade of natural hessian.
The kitchen has been cleverly upcycled by painting the cupboards a striking shade of blue.
We love the rustic, industrial vibe in the dining room, thanks to the addition of a brick-patterned feature wall that was previously an uninspiring shade of magnolia.
