Inside the gin palace
The interiors in this Cheshire house are the perfect blend of elegantly classy with just a hint of bohemian decadence. Exactly what you might expect from a place affectionately named the Gin Palace.
It’s all the creation of first time home owner Ginny, who took on the house as a slightly reluctant reno project, after struggling to secure the right property. You can see the amazing results of her work on Instagram @ginpalace19 but meantime let’s take a closer look around…
Soft neutrals are brought to life with pops of bright blue and brass, including an eye-catching central Sputnik light in the lounge...
...Which opens directly onto the hallway, after an adjoining door was removed to create more light and space.
In the bedroom, matte black cushions and side tables contrast beautifully with the pure white Hampton and Astley long-staple cotton sateen bedding.
There are vases of various shapes and sizes in every room, with a rather unusual double legged one on the hallway console table.
We love how this green velvet sofa complements the peacock prints on the wall. The perfect spot to enjoy a gin cocktail or two.
