Easy ways to restyle your home
If you fancy a change of décor, but a full renovation project just isn't on the cards, it's amazing how easy it is to transform a room with just a few clever tweaks.
It's all about looking at the latest interiors trends and finding quick and easy ways to ring the changes in your own home. Best of all, you don't need to spend a lot doing it.
To help get your creative juices flowing, we've compiled a list of our favourite ways to refresh your home, without too much effort.
Shelve it
Adding new decorative shelving, or revamping old shelves, is an easy way to add personality and style. Fill shelves with groups of interesting and on-trend items that complement each other visually. To store your bits and pieces, use themed containers such as small wicker baskets, glass jars or ceramic pots.

Get stencilling
Black and white patterned floor tiles are so chic right now, but changing a whole area of flooring is a huge hassle, right? It doesn't need to be, as instead of tearing up the old tiles, you could buy a floor tile stencil kit and paint over them with a stunning new design.

Glam up your patio
You don't need fancy new patio furniture to give your outdoor space a new lease of life. With a couple of coats of white paint, an old wooden table and chair set can look really cute. Add some ladder shelves stacked with plant pots and a string of lightbulbs along the fence for a vintage boho look.

Colour change
In a room that's mainly monochrome, switch in a pop of on-trend colour to give it a whole new look. For a living room area, this could be a feature wall, cushions or throws in Classic Blue (Pantone's colour of the year for 2020). Or in a grey bathroom, you can't beat a stack of pretty blush pink towels.

See the light
Lighting can affect the mood of a room drastically, so think about how you can change up the arrangement in your room. Table lamps work well to soften the mood, while a statement central light fitting will draw the eye and add a touch of glamour.

Go green
Bring a bit of zing into your room with some new houseplants. The trick is to vary up the size and location. You could add a hanging plant in a macrame pot holder, a few small plants on shelves and a big statement plant on the floor. And if you're just not green fingered, choose artificial plants instead.
