Perfectly pink interiors
Blush pink, or ‘Millennial pink’ as it’s come to be known, has long been an interior design favourite and it’s a trend that just refuses to go away.
It's the perfect hue to bring warmth to a monochrome colour scheme, while its calming, soothing properties make it ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms alike. Here we give you some ideas how you can work this soft and dreamy pink to the very best effect in your own interiors.
Warm up in the bedroom
Soft grey is always a popular choice for the bedroom, but a splash of colour really helps bring it to life. Pink is a great match for grey and so adding blush pink bedding is a good way to warm things up a touch.
Or for a more eclectic look, layer blush pink bedding with soft greens, blues or purples.
It's wise to accessorise
If you’re not quite ready to commit to full-on pink décor, you can dip your toe in the water with a few pink accessories that can easily be swapped out. You can’t beat the Instagram readiness of a white bathroom, but adding a stack of blush pink towels just takes it to the next level.
Go to the wall
Pink walls are certainly a bigger commitment, but there’s just something so opulent about a pink bathroom. Matt pink paint over a freshly plastered wall contrasts beautifully with black and white floor tiles. In a smaller space, stick at just one or two pink walls to avoid it feeling overpowering.
