At Hampton and Astley, we're passionate about creating stylish, luxury products that perform brilliantly and always delight our customers.
It all started in 2017, when our founder Caroline bought a 'luxury' bathroom towel from a well-known high street store. Disappointed by its lack of absorbency, she set about designing her own Egyptian cotton range, to be irresistibly soft, fluffy and, of course, super absorbent.
Since introducing our very first collection we've added silky-soft bedding, award-winning natural wax scented candles, sumptuous throws and luxury spa-inspired bath robes. And, we've got plans for even more...

To start with always wash your new bedding before you use it and wash it alone.
This helps to remove any germs that may have been picked up at the warehouse or during delivery.
Each time before you wash them, turn your pillowcases, fitted sheet and duvet cover inside out, roll each piece into a ball and place them into the washing machine. This reduces the risk of the washing machine causing any damage to the fabric.
Always set the washing machine to a cool 30-degree wash in order to preserve the strength of the long-staple cotton.
Always wash your bedding separately with no other garments and choose a gentle laundry detergent without additives as this will stop the colour fading and will protect the fibres.
Try to wash your bedding at least once a week.
We don't recommend using a tumble dryer to dry your bedding as there is a risk that over heating can wear down and damage the fibres. Instead, in bad weather, air on a clothes rail indoors, or dry in the airing cupboard.
In good weather we love to dry our bedding on the outside line, but not directly in the sun to stop it bleaching them. Instead, we hide them behind another garment or hang in a more shaded area.
Then the best bit - they are ready for your bed and a cosy night's sleep.
To keep your bedding in tip-top condition between washing days, each morning fold back the duvet cover and straighten the pillows in order to let everything air. This will slow down the build-up of any pockets of bad odours or damp and keep your bedroom smelling nice and fresh.
A final word of advice - avoid any coloured bedding (I.e. Non-white bedding) when following a beauty regime that uses skincare or haircare products that contain benzoyl peroxide as this can cause bleaching.
Follow these simple steps and you will find that your bedding looks and feels good for longer. Enjoy!
