Exquisite renovations

May 03, 2022 1 min read

Today we’re heading to Cardiff to take a look inside a beautiful 1930s house belonging to lifestyle blogger Jamie, known on Insta as @rigby.residence.

After 18 months of buying and selling, she was 4 months pregnant when they finally got the keys, so it was a race against time to finish all the major renovations. Thanks to a lot of hard work – and a very handy husband – the results speak for themselves. Let’s take a closer look…

Jamie used a palette of cool neutrals and bold, clean lines to create a classical look with a modern twist.

Alcove shelving creates the ideal space for Jamie's collection of photos and accessories, along with a Hampton and Astley Blossom & Fig scented candle.

Parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern runs through the downstairs, adding warmth and texture.

The herringbone pattern is repeated in the marble tiled feature wall that sits behind this gorgeous freestanding bathtub. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
