Make your bed a piece of art with a dramatically extravagant headboard. Becoming bigger and bolder in recent years, an oversized statement headboard is the perfect way to add instant impact to your bedroom.

Paneling
Placing panels on the wall behind your bed is a great alternative to a supersized headboard and it’s easier to DIY it than you think. This trend is still going strong on Instagram and there are plenty of tutorials out there so you can try it for yourself.

Deep blue accents
For a deeply dramatic look, we absolutely love midnight blue as a bold accent colour on cushions, throws and feature walls. The darkest blues make a beautiful contrast to a set of pure white Egyptian cotton bedding.

Natural fabrics
Featuring feel-good textures like natural cottons, linens and unfinished wood, boho bedrooms have been around forever, but this more sophisticated version brings the style bang up to date. Keep lines clean and simple, so it’s more chic than shabby.

Neutral colourways
We’re all looking for ways to combat stress and get a good night’s sleep.
